In development: EasyPay

Outershift has started development on a new product this week aimed towards web developers.

EasyPay is installed separately and acts as a completely separate application. It sits between your product and a payment processor. Your “checkout” section in your product redirects to the fully-customizable EasyPay page where the user can select one of the supported payment methods.

EasyPay handles the hard parts of interacting with all of the various services and exposes you, the developer, to a simple unified REST-based API. Just implement EasyPay once in your applications and gain access to all supported payment processors automatically.

Some features include:

  • Full admin console to view all transactions that go through EasyPay.
  • Multiple products can use a single EasyPay service. You can even set up multiple domains for each. For example, pay.domain1.com and secure.domain2.com, and have each associated with a specific style or settings.
  • Custom styles so the “checkout” pages look like your product. You can even set up customized pages for specific sessions or users. For example, insert the customers name or username in the header.

EasyPay will ship with these three modules:

  • Authorize.net
  • PayPal
  • SagePay

But will quickly add support for:

  • 2checkout
  • CCBill
  • MoneyBookers
  • Nochex
  • WorldPay
